A virtual data room (VDR) is a series of restrictive extranets that provide an online data store. Organizations regularly use a proprietary virtual data room to provide outsiders and accomplices with basic data in a secure online state. The Virtual Dataroom allows meetings to see records that are important to a given Exchange for eligible customers. Records are stored electronically on a focal server and retrieved over the Internet.

VDRs are secure and private virtual meeting rooms where buyers, lawyers, accountants and various experts can view sensitive reports. Initially, VDRs were essentially used by legal advisers to meet customers. Today, however, VDRs are used in a wide range of organizations where a financially proficient approach is required to meet the requirement of a physical data room or interview room.
